Accessories for Sony RX10 V Digital Camera
Description
Leave with one camera. Come home with every photo. The RX10 V is designed for photographers who want flexibility to capture virtually any subject without carrying multiple cameras and lenses. Combining a 24–600 mm1 zoom lens, large 20.1 MP2 1-type sensor, AI-powered autofocus3, high-speed 30fps4 shooting, and advanced video capabilities into a single integrated camera
With a 1.0-type image sensor and 24-600 mm*1 zoom range, the RX10 V inherits the uniqueness of the RX10-series while incorporating the latest α™ technology for enhanced performance and outstanding image quality. This all-in-one camera lets you effortlessly capture stunning, high-quality photos with beautifully blurred backgrounds.
A 25× optical zoom, 24–600mm*1 F2.4–4 ZEISS® Vario-Sonnar T* lens with eight ED (Extra-low Dispersion) elements, including two aspherical ED elements, ZEISS T* coating and Optical SteadyShot image stabilization, delivers stunning image quality from near to far.
A 1.0-type Exmor RS™ stacked, backside illuminated CMOS sensor with 20.1 megapixels*2 delivers detailed rendering with natural gradations. Stacked sensor architecture boosts signal processing speed.
The BIONZ XR™ engine delivers an ideal mix of noise reduction and outstanding image quality, especially at mid-to-high sensitivity. Advanced algorithms ensure optimum exposure with natural color and gradients.
Focus as close as 1.18-inchs (3 cm)*10 at wide angle (0.42x max. magnification*1) or 28.3-inches (72 cm)*10 at telephoto (0.49x max. magnification*1) without complex focus modes, for impressively detailed close-ups and macro shots of small subjects.
The updated D-Range Optimizer (DRO) balances bright highlights and dark shadows and offers a wider range of strength settings, up to Lv8.*11 At higher levels, DRO lifts shadow areas in strong backlight, delivering more natural-looking portrait shots.
Creative Look makes it easy to create visual moods for stills or movies right in the camera. 12 presets can be used as-is or edited to create custom looks that can be saved for later use.
Capture the perfect moment. Shoot up to 30 fps*3 bursts with full AF/AE tracking and no viewfinder blackout. Up to 60 AF/AE calculations per second5 ensure that important action can be captured with confidence. Silent shooting*12 allows you to shoot with no shutter sound
Fast Hybrid AF combines phase-detection autofocus with contrast AF. 575 phase detection AF points*9 cover approximately 70.6%*19 of the image area for precise focus even on small or active subjects.
The advanced BIONZ XR™ image processing engine and new dedicated AI processing unit have significantly advanced subject recognition, reliably recognizing Human, Animal, Bird, Insect, Car/Train and Airplane subjects*4. An [Auto] mode can automatically select the subject type*12.
With an advanced AI processing unit, the RX10 V reliably recognizes human eyes as well as body and head position, making it possible to accurately lock onto and track a wide range of subjects, even when the subject faces away from the camera or the face is partially obscured3.
Real-time Tracking*8 accurately focuses on and tracks a selected subject when the shutter button is half-pressed. If [Touch Tracking] is engaged*14, touching a subject on the monitor will instantly select it for tracking.
Record detailed high frame rate 4K 120p6 footage that can be processed for up to 5x slow-motion playback*15. The S&Q mode*7 plays video at slow or high speed in the camera. The RX10 V offers an impressive range of video recording formats, including 10-bit 4:2:2 recording and All-Intra compression.
Active Mode stabilization16 uses highly accurate gyro sensors and optimized image stabilization algorithms to provide a highly effective blend of electronic and optical stabilization for video recording, for example for shooting while walking.
A built-in digital audio interface applied to the Multi Interface (MI) Shoe™ allows connection to compatible Sony microphones (sold separately) for high-quality digital input and recording. 48 kHz / 24-bit, two or four channels can be recorded*17.
Sony’s S-Cinetone picture profile delivers cinematic and natural mid-tones for healthy-looking skin, plus soft colors and gorgeous highlights, without the need for color grading.
The S-Log3 gamma curve helps to maintain smooth, natural gradations from shadows to mid-grey (18% grey), making it easier to grade for high image quality in post-production. S-Gamut3 and S-Gamut3.Cine color spaces are supported. Imported user LUTs (.cube)*18 can be used as alternatives to the preset picture profiles (PPLUT 1 through 4) to provide the final graded output.
Frames marked with Shot Marks during movie recording or playback are automatically extracted and saved as stills, for enhanced and hybrid workflows.
A 3.68 million-dot*19 Quad-VGA OLED viewfinder with 0.78x*19 magnification delivers high resolution, high contrast, and easier viewing. The viewfinder frame rate can be set to [Standard] (60 fps) or [High] (120 fps). You can also now save up to three custom settings for shooting information display, and display the histogram and level indicator simultaneously.
The large touch-sensitive high-resolution 3.0-type LCD monitor has approximately 1.62 million dots*19 for accurate viewing and focusing. It also tilts upward and downward for comfortable shooting from a wide range of positions.
Shooting info shown on the LCD monitor and in the electronic viewfinder automatically adapts to horizontal and vertical camera orientation for maximum legibility and shooting comfort.
Based on feedback and α series evolution, we’ve significantly improved the grip contours (compared to the RX10 IV). Fingers naturally follow the body line, and buttons have been refined for enhanced feel and response.
The position of the focus mode switch has been redesigned from the RX10 IV and relocated to the side of the lens. This change aims to provide an operating feel similar to that of E-mount lenses and improves the responsiveness of the AF/MF switch.
Redesigned controls and more natural operating angles bring enhanced comfort and operability. Dual Control Dials: Independently assignable for custom still and video setups. AF-ON Button*21: Independent autofocus control, helping you preset focus and concentrate on timing and composition without relying on the shutter button. Multi-selector: Textured control with 8-directional input, for intuitive operation even while using the viewfinder.
The lens is equipped with focus, zoom and aperture rings that are easily operated while looking through the viewfinder. The underside of the aperture ring has convex and concave parts for reliable finger contact. Functions and rotation directions assigned to the zoom and focus rings can be changed as desired. The aperture ring click can be turned on and off.

Understanding "Grey Market", "Direct Import", and "Imported" Products
At Willoughby's Photo Emporium, we offer both USA-warranted and imported (grey market) products. The terms "grey market", "direct import", and "imported" all refer to the same category: products sourced from outside the manufacturer's official U.S. distribution channels.
What Is a Grey Market Product?
A grey market item is a brand-new, authentic product manufactured by the original brand. These are not knock-offs, factory seconds, or demo units.
The main differences are:
